Diversity in Apprenticeships/Gender
Increasing diversity in apprenticeships
Our aim is to make apprenticeships available to everyone, regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability or learning difficulties. One way we aim to do this is by working with employers to create opportunities for people from all walks of life. Not only are we promoting opportunities to people from BME communities, but also promoting non-traditional careers to men and women. For example, we want to help women find apprenticeships in construction, and men find apprenticeships in childcare.
We also want to help people with disabilities and learning difficulties, to get their foot on the ladder by gaining qualifications while working.
If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Jale Sezen who will be only too happy to provide you with more information.

If you need to gain new skills to stand out from the crowd, and you would like to earn while you learn, an apprenticeship is the perfect answer.
An apprenticeship is simply a paid job that allows you to become qualified at the same time. For example; you could work in an office four days a week and attend college one day a week working towards an Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
